WHABA 2025 Fall Baseball Programs

1. U13 Transition Program

Who: Players from WHLL or WHYBL who just aged out of the small diamond.
What: Twice-weekly workouts introducing players to the big diamond (defense & offense), plus scrimmages and games. Led by Post 96 coaching staff, with guest coaches from high school and college programs.
When: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30–7:00 PM at Hall High School, starting Sept 8 through mid-October. Cost: $100/player

2. Tobacco Valley League (Ages 13–16)

Who: Players aged 13–16 with at least one season on the big diamond (no varsity players; 16-year-olds must hit with wood and cannot pitch).

What: Assigned to one of two West Hartford teams competing against towns like Simsbury, Glastonbury, and Wethersfield.

When: Season starts week of Sept 15. Includes 12–14 games plus playoffs, ending by Oct 26.Cost: $200/player

3. WHABA Fall Tournament Teams

Who: Coaches or player groups interested in tournament play.

What: Contact Coach Sanford to explore options based on interest, pitching, and catching availability.
